One of my best memories.

My best story
One of my best memories is when I tried to find a language course in China.
It started as a classic summer day; on that day I waiting for my car to be washed in the Car Service Centre with my lap-top. There was a man in smart clothes sitting nearby me. He looked at the screen of my computer and asked me why I’m going to study in China. I was at my best at that day and started to buddy up with him. I told him about my university and language experience. After that he gave me his telephone number for no reason and said: Call me tomorrow, I think I can help you!
On the next day I called him and he said cheerfully: If you want to work in China. I can help you. I was feeling worried and shy but I said: Yes, and he gave me another telephone number. It was a telephone number of a big Russian company which is engaged in atomic industry.
I was surprised to learn that he was a President of that company!

History of my mother's side family

My great grandfather.

I want to tell about my mother’s side family story. My grandmother often tells me about our family. Exactly she loves to tell me about my great-grandfather. I think he was a very adventurous, stubborn and down-to-earth person.  His name is Abdulla, he was from Tajikistan. He was the first secretary of CK KP of Tajikistan and lived in Dushanbe but his family lived in Hudzhant (Leninabad).

My great grandfather
After the Plenary meeting of the Central Committee of the CPSU he was convicted and stripped him of his titles. The government recognized him a political prisoner. He went separate ways with his family and went to Magadan.

My great grandparents and my granny.

Then he met my great grandmother, her name is Nina. She was a nurse and he was jobless. So they fell in love. Less than a year later they got married.

After World War 2 his acquaintance and government colleagues helped him and his new family to return to Tajikistan.

Abdulla and his colleague Tursunbai.

There my grandmother Mavluda (Ludmila) was born. She has two sisters Zuhra and Halima.
Zuhra (Zoi), Halima and Mavluda (Ludmila).
Abdulla started to work in government again but our family lived in Russia. For a long time he provided for his family from Tajikistan but when Halima went to study ballet dance in Moscow, my great grandfather decided to live in Russia.
Zoi, Halima, my grandmother Ludmila.
my mother my aunts and my great grandmother.
He died in Moscow but was buried in Dushanbe . Nowadays there are two streets and avenue in Dushanbe, Hudzhant named after my great grandfather.
So I have an extended family because I have a lot of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Flashbacks of a fool (A friend in need is a friend indeed)

Good friends are one of the most important things you will have in your life. A person without a good friend is like a person with only one foot. You could still manage to walk, but finding your way along the road of life without the support of good friends, would be much harder to accomplish. Who would prefer living without a few good friends anyway. The world would be such a lonely place to live in. When you're a stranger in a town and feeling lonely, you might consider joining a club, or get a drink in a pub, that way you're bound to meet new people and who knows....some of the people you meet may become your friends and one or two may become even good friends.

Good Friends are hard to find and keeping them is even harder. It takes commitment and a bit of devotion, trust and above all: the will to make it happen. Being good friends is not a one way road. It's the question of giving and taking, of live and let live, of solidarity. Being good friends is almost like a marriage - it's for better and for worse till death do us part.

Friends...
John, Regina, Ilya and I.
What about me, I have a lot of good friends but I’m not a good friend for my friends. After some problems in my life I studied to be along and enjoy it. Usually my friends say that I’m very close person because they don’t know where is I and how to find me? Sometimes I try keep in touch with my friends but very soon it become difficult for me.I have tree close friends. It is John, Regina his girlfriend and Ilya. I've known them for a long time. It is about 11 years. I'm amazed we got on so well, because we haven't much in common. We had ups and downs and fell out a couple of times but now everything is alright. They always know how to find me and what the problem I have.  In conclusion I want to say that I love my close friends and if they have problems I always help them.

New technologies

We are the modern generation and we live in amazing world. People invent a lot of technologies and improve it every day. I want to tell about some new gadgets that help us in education and work. It is netbooks, notebooks, pocketbooks, mobile phones, and other interesting things that help us to save our time. Today anyone can find a lot and very different information and safe a lot of time when we use internet. Internet is another life where we can study, work, enjoy…..

1. Probably the most important gadget is cell phone that help us to keep in touch with other people. New mobile telephones are very modern have a lot of utilities. There are dictionaries, calculator, and instant access to internet. Modern phones have the ability of editing document. And store and organize a lot of information. But a lot of teachers don’t like when students use it because students can cheat. Nothing is more disruptive during a lesson than the sound of a mobile phone ringing.

2.  Pocketbook provides the ability of more comfortable web browsing.  It is good for student to write and save a lot of new information. You don’t need to carry round lots of things for studying.  You can upload there everything that you need. For example books, maps, projects and other.

3.  Notebooks are very important thing for studying. People nowadays have and use computers everywhere.  All students should have computers because it helps us to keep in touch via internet. It is a necessary thing for work and study. Computer software is quickly outdated but every day we invent new programs. Modern computers are used to do everything we need. But very important is to store large amounts of information. Sometimes we put it on circuits.

4. Micro earphones. Lots of modern students is using it to cheat. They find another person who tells them all the information. Teachers believe them but it isn’t good for student because they become a generation of couch potatoes.

5. Dictaphones are used to save speech, lecture or another sort of information that we hear every day. But it is not very necessary thing because all modern phones have this utility.

6. Nowadays a lot of people use web cameras  meeting other people via the internet. Sometimes for an education, sometimes for talking. Modern mobile phones have web cameras too.
Everyday our life changes and improves.

Books in my life.
In a childhood I didn’t like reading. But my parents always said that I should read more.
I don’t remember my first book but I remember correctly I love reading after book of brothers Strugatsky“Hard to be a god”. The novel follows Anton, an undercover operative from the future planet Earth, in his mission on an alien planet, that is populated by human beings, whose society has not advanced beyond the Middle ages.

Now I like books and I like reading very much. I like going around book shops and browse books. I judge a book by its cover. If the cover looks interesting I read the first page. If it’s boring I don’t buy the book- if I turn over the page and carry on reading, I buy the book. Sometimes I read books reviews in the internet and magazines, and when I read about a book that sounds interesting I remember it.
I read different books but I prefer stories where I can find real life, real characters and true love. I’m greatly interested in Russian literature of the 19th century. I like all products by A.P Chekhov. He had a good feeling for characters and the relationships between them, and that’s what I find interesting in a book.

Unfortunately, nowadays I’m very busy with my studies so I don’t have much free time for reading, but anyway reading for me is relaxing.
Now I read a book by Leonard Mlodinov “Not made accident

My English experience.

I've been learning English about 5 years. I try to be an intelligent student but sometimes I can’t. In my opinion if you want to study English you should be hard -working obviously, and you should be eager, you know, you should be eager to study which means that you should initiate your study and then try to start learning by yourselves, not like depending on the teacher, and you know, just doing what you are told to do. I think you should have the motivation to study, so that would make a good student.
Another way of studying a foreign languages is how you learn the language. There are a lot of ways of studying English. Nobody learns a language the same way. As many people as many learning methods.  Try to combine the different methods and get a balanced approach.  You should do a little reading, a little writing, a little speaking and a lot of listening.
If you have enough money the best way to learn a language is go to a native speaking country, and live there for a year or two. You can take a crash course of spoken English and immerse yourself completely into the language and the culture.
And of course you have to be disciplined and learn to manage your time. Don’t leave things to the last minute. It’s a good idea to do the tasks in good time.

My food memories

I like cooking very much, because I cooked and helped cooking my family every day when I was growing up. Our family always used to eat around a table. I love everything my family cooked. We used to go to my nan’s on holidays and I’d help her make pies and pancakes. I always thing that food is my life and I finished two-years cooking courses.
I had a happy childhood and even though it didn’t give me a balanced view of food.

Nowadays I eat all food and I haven’t got a pet hate things. But mostly I like meat and sea food with good vine. My mouth was always watering, when I smelt it!

I always try new things and experiment with new dishes. Mostly I do it with my mother because she has a right view of food and helps me to choose the wine for different dishes. When we had been to Maldives, it was three years ago, I remember digging into prawns and garlic.

I think a happy childhood gives you a right and balanced view of food and of yourself. I don’t turn down traditional food. I am a sensible eater, who has a balanced diet and regular exercise. I eat what I fancy and I feel good about it! In my opinion, having a great family and having normal people around me keeps me grounded.
